ABSTRACT
The project of Integral Public School present in the some schools of state Santa
Catarina, presents how principal characteristics the ampliation of the time of
permanence of the pupul at school and integral education. In this work intend to
analyse the conception of integral education of the referided project interest and
your manifestation in the experience develops at EEB Prof Dolvina Leite de
Medeiros . The referided project announcers how principal characteristics the
amplification of the time of permanence of the pupil at school and the integral
education. In this sense is important to comprehend what conception of integral
education anuncied. With this finality choose it, initial, to search in the education
bibliography the conceptions of integral education present in the Anarchist movement
and the Pragmatism , that developed a proposition of integral education. Observe
that both think the integral education how human formation, how the full development
of the intellectual, physics, emotional and cultural capacities, that is obtained for the
simple amplification of the time of the permanence of the pupil in the school. What its
differentiate is that – the Anarchist – proposes the overcome of the class society and
other – Pragmatism – of liberal coiner’s, proposes the adaptation of the persons in
the model of valid society. In second moment I trace an approximation at idea of
integral education in the historical – dialectic material that founds theoretical and
philosophy the Proposta Curricular de Santa Catarina and, for consequense, would
need to orient the experience integral schools proposals by project Integral Public

project in the school had a larger preoccupation with the question of the amplification
of the time of the permanence of pupil at school that with the development of a
conception of a integral education based in the presupposition of the Proposta
Curricular de Santa Catarina. We perceive that the Catarinense presupposition
integral time of school to go in that refere at curriculum intregralization, represented
by offering of the subject of integral form in two turns of functioning at school, but it
needs to go in the discussion of a progressive perspective of education in the line of
the historical – critic pedagogy that is a pedagogical tendency that best insert in the
material historical perspective material, historical and dialect.
